Grassroots collective of health professionals
We are a community-based organization, founded during the pandemic, with the goal of addressing health education and access deficits facing Hispanic communities. Our first major initiative, Unidos Contra COVID, emerged as one of the region’s largest grassroots Spanish-language COVID efforts, developing a blueprint for effective outreach within a historically marginalized population. Today, our commitment persists in tackling disparities facing Spanish speaking communities post-pandemic. Through strategic community outreach initiatives forged by partnerships large and small, we aim to provide support, empowerment, and advocacy for equitable healthcare education and access for Spanish speakers.

Our mission is to foster a healthier and more health knowledgeable Hispanic community through a culturally sensitive approach to public health education that transcends language barriers. We aim to continue expanding our reach, influence, and impact, becoming a model for culturally responsive health advocacy and a trusted partner for projects that bridge larger, outside organizations with community-based initiatives
Vision
Medicos Unidos, Inc. envisions a future where members of the Hispanic community have more equitable access to vital health information and knowledge about the medical journey, including disease prevention, chronic disease management, nuances of the medical system, and more, with the goal of improving health outcomes and general well-being. Our organization strives to be a beacon of collaboration, connecting the expertise of resolute professionals with both local and national organizations, facilitating meaningful partnerships to create an integrated approach to public health that transcends language barriers. We aim to continue expanding our reach, influence, and impact, becoming a model for culturally responsive healthcare advocacy and a trusted consultant for projects that bridge larger organizations with community-based initiatives.
