Dr. Jose Ramon Torradas

Is a bilingual emergency medicine physician with more than a decade of experience in emergency departments and urgent care centers. Raised in the Delaware Valley, Dr. Torradas graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He pursued his medical education at the University of Pennsylvania. After completing his residency at North Shore University Hospital in New York, he practiced in California and returned to Pennsylvania.

He has served as a spokesperson for various national organizations, including ACEP and NHMA. During the pandemic he became a regularly featured on-air media personality, appearing in over 300 interviews. Dr. Torradas is on the PA Department of Health’s Latino Advisory Board and is a Commissioner on the Governor’s Advisory Council for Latino Affairs. He practices at vybe urgent care and in his free time enjoys traveling and connecting with the world.

Driven by a vocational call to action and inspired by the work of countless others, Dr. Torradas co-founded Medicos Unidos in 2021.
