Dr. Karen Ramírez Suárez
Is a Colombian physician and epidemiologist with over six years of clinical experience. Since 2020, she has been based in Philadelphia with the goal of continuing her education with a focus on research. Since her arrival, she has engaged in projects that aim to provide assistance to Latin communities in the city.
Karen holds a particular interest in promoting awareness of public and community health. She has been actively involved in various initiatives, including educational programs for health promoters in communities within the Dominican Republic.
Additionally, she has forged strategic alliances with different organizations seeking to improve healthcare coverage and access in Hispanic communities, closely collaborating with entities such as Puentes de Salud.
Outside of medicine, Karen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling and tasting local cuisines, practicing yoga, exploring nature, and immersing herself in the rich musical diversity offered by Philadelphia.
